- 8 spring roll pastry sheets
- 50 gr prawns
- 1 carrot
- 4 Chinese cabbage leaves
- 5 or 6 shallots (or half onion)
- 1 clove of garlic
- salty soy sauce (kecap asin) to sauté
- sweet soy sauce (kecap manis) to accompany
- spicy sauce (sambal)
Wash the Chinese cabbage, drain it and, later, chop it along with carrot, shallots, garlic and prawns.
Sauté the carrot in a pan with a little oil on medium-high heat for two minutes. Add shallots and garlic. Sauté two more minutes and add the cabbage. Stir it for a minute and add the prawns.
Stir it for one more minute and add the salty soy sauce. Stir it and let it cool down.
Fill the pastry sheets and shape rolls.
Fry them in hot oil and remove them on absorbent paper.
Serve rolls with rice, slices tomato, sweet soy sauce and spicy sauce.
