- 10 fresh red chillies
- 1 pear tomato
- 5 or 6 shallots (or half onion or one small onion)
- 2 cloves of garlic
- 5 tbsp oil
- 2 tbsp water
- 3 tsp sugar
- ½ tsp salt
Chop chillies and tomato, cover them with water and let it cook on medium heat. When the chillies and tomato are soft (about 20 minutes), then drain it (if there is still some water) and beat it along with the shallots and garlic.
Add oil, sugar, salt and water, and fry it on low heat for about 10 minutes.
Then let it cool down and strain it.
