Serves 4

  • 24 prawns
  • 200 gr vermicelli noodles (rice noodles)
  • 200 gr soybean sprouts
  • 8-10 shallots (or half onion)

  • 2 tsp cinnamon

  • 4 cardamom pods
  • 4 cloves
  • black pepper
  • 1 tsp turmeric
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • salt
  • 200 ml water
  • 200 ml coconut milk

Peel the prawns. Then, cook the shrimp shells in 200 ml of water. Drain it and save the liquid for later.
