- 4 small potatoes
- 5 or 6 shallots (or half onion)
- 2 cloves garlic
- salt
- pepper
- 1 egg
- oil
- flour
Chop shallots and garlic, and fry it. Strain it and set it aside.
Wash the potatoes and let them cook until they are softened (about 15 to 20 minutes). Strain them and let them cool.
Smash them and mix them with shallots and garlic, salt and pepper.
Shape them into medallions (round and flat, not too big), coat them with flour and egg, and fry them in a pan with hot oil until they are golden. Remove them on absorbent paper and serve them hot.
