- 1 egg
- half a glass olive oil (sunflower, soybean…)
- juice of 1 or 2 limes, or half a lemon
Beat the egg.
Slowly add the olive oil while continue beating until the sauce is thick.
Add lime juice, and a pinch of salt. Continue beating for some more seconds.
Another way to prepare the mayonnaise: add all ingredients in a bowl, and place the beater inside. Turn on it without moving it. When the sound changes, start moving the beater until the sauce is thick. Then, add juice lime and salt.
