Serves 4

  • 400 gr chicken breast
  • 2 tbsp butter ghee
  • 1 onion
  • 3 or 4 garlic cloves
  • 2 cm fresh ginger
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 3 or 4 cardamom pods
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 1 or 2 cloves
  • 2 pear tomatoes
  • ½ tsp hot chilli
  • ½ tsp turmeric
  • ½ tsp cumin
  • saffron
  • black pepper
  • 125 gr yogurt
  • 6 tbsp coconut milk
  • salt
  • 60 gr almonds and cashew nuts

Chop garlic, onion and ginger, and fry them along with cinnamon, cloves, bay leaf and cardamom on medium heat until onion is transparent (2 or 3 minutes).

Chop chicken and fry it on medium-high heat until it begins to brown (2 or 3 minutes).

4 añadir tomate y especias

Grate tomato and add it. Also add salt, turmeric, saffron, cumin, hot chilli and black pepper. Fry them for 2 minutes

2 remover yogur 5 añadir leche de coco y yogur

Remove the whey from the yogurt and stir it until it is a smooth cream. Add it along with coconut milk. Let it cook for 15 minutes on medium-low heat.

6 añadir anacardos molidos 7 remover

Then add ground cashew nuts and almonds. Stir and serve it with basmati rice and naan.
