- basmati rice (2 cup or 4/5 part of rice and lentils mix)
- urad dal – white lentils (1/2 cup or 1/5 part of rice and lentils mix)
- 1 tbsp fenugreek seeds
Dosai is also called dosa, dosay, dhosai, dhosay, tosai, tosay o thosai.
Wash the rice, drain and soak it for 6 hours.
Wash urad dal and fenugreek seeds, drain and soak it for 6 hours.
Drain the rice and blend it.
Drain the urad dal and blend it.
Mix rice and urad dal.
Cover and let it for 8 hours to ferment.
Grease a pan and cover the bottom with the mix.
Fry it for 2 minutes and fill it or serve it with some sauce (tomato gravy or green chutney).
