For 2 naan
- 150 gr wheat flour (a little more to knead)
- 60 gr yogurt
- 50 ml warm water
- 2 tbsp butter ghee
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 or 2 garlic cloves
- 1 tsp sugar
- 2 tbsp parsley
- 1 tsp cumin
Grate garlic and chop parsley.
Remove the whey from the yogurt and stir it until it is a smooth cream.
Mix flour, yogurt, water, butter, baking powder, salt, garlic, sugar and half teaspoon cumin, and knead it for 10 minutes on a table with some flour. Then, shape a ball and let it rest for an hour in a warm place covered with a cling film or a cloth.
After this time, knead for some seconds and shape two balls. Stretch them with the hands.
Sprinkle them with parsley and half teaspoon cumin. Let them rest, covered with a cloth, for 10 minutes.
Then, fry it for 3 or 4 minutes both sides in a pan with a little butter ghee.
